Milky Way Products

We are often asked if we can get in special items from Milky way Molds for people and we do it happily, but the practice is not well known about
If you find an item on the Milky Way Mold site (www.milkywaymolds.com)  that we do not carry as a stock line please use the "contact us" link and ask us to order it for you.  We will incorporate your item in our next order and supply it to you at the same rate as our regular stock product of the same ilk.  If it is a line we dont carry from Milky Way Molds we are happy to quote you before ordering it for you.
You may need to wait up to a month for it to arrive at the outside, but if we need to order within that time it will be earlier.

Deodorant Tubes

I get asked periodically how tto use the deodorant tubes we list on our website.  These are the ones that are made for a solid deodorant, lotion bar, sunscreen stick, insect repellant, vapour rub type product etc.  They are a fabulously handy device, especially if you like to keep your hands clean when applying your products.

The secret to successful use is to leave the tube in tact - exactly as you receive it.  The lid holds a plastic cover in place (with a little handle for easy removal) that will stop your product from leaking out of the tube and will mould the top into a good shape.  You must stand the tube on its nice flat  lid to fill it through the hole in the base with your melted and cooled ingredients.  If you are adding essential oils or fragrances add them just before you pour your mix and stir well to have them at their retainable best.  Fill the tube only to the plasticc shelf you can see through the hole and allow the mix to set up completely.  To go past this point may clog the wind up mechanism that enables you to get the most out of your product.  Then you simply insert the disc into the hole to complete it and turn the right way up.  Your product is then ready to label and move on to its end purpose.
